The people of Sheegi community in Badari Ward of Ilorin West Local Government organized a prayer secession for the re-election of Hon Segilola, member Kwara House of Assembly.

The prayer was lead by Chief Imam of Sheegi Central Mosque, Alhaji Muhammad Awwal. On the desires of his subjects, the Imam explained that the prayer is not political but to appreciate the good work and generosity of Segilola to the people of the community and Ilorin Central Constituency.

He said, her contributions to the development of the community made her a good ambassador of the people and pray for Allah's protection over her. Also he acknowledged her contribution of over N500,000 for the roofing of Sheegi Central Mosque in Badari Ward, He said, she did it anonymously.

In his prayers, the Imam pray for the success of Princess Segilola in the forthcoming general elections.

Expressing confidence in the APC candidate, the Imam declared that the people of the community are aware of what she's doing for the people of the district in terms of empowerment programme and some of the personal sacrifices she has made for some communities. As such, the people of Sheegi will continue to pray for her success at the forthcoming polls.
