Kwara LP in Crisis over gubernatorial slot
Following the adoption of Dr Mike Omotosho as Labour Party governorship candidate in Kwara State,Engr Amoo Adelaja has kicked against the nomination.
In a chat with Daily Times, Engr Amoo revealed that he nurtured Labour Party, brought it into limelight and prominence, thus the adoption of Omotosho is undemocratic.
In his words, "I'm not a party to the arrangement. Omotosho is not a consensus candidate. I know how LP became a force to be reckoned with in Kwara. Those that are perpetuating the fraud also know.
Omotosho left the People's Democratic Party (PDP), citing injustice in his attempt to pick the House of Representative slot in Irepodun, Ekiti, Oke Ero and Isin federal constituency before joining LP and adopted as the gubernatorial candidate.
