10 held over Ilorin fracas
Ten persons have been remanded at an Ilorin magistrate's court over their alleged involvement in a recent fracas in Okelele area of Ilorin.
The suspects, arraigned by the state police command, were ordered to be remanded in police custody pending the outcome of investigation.
Some hoodlums clashed in the area Monday night over political issues when many people were injured. Those arraigned were arrested by the police who later charged them for disruption of public peace and public unrest.
Spokesman of the Kwara State Police Command, Mr Okasanmi Ajayi, said the suspects were ordered to be put in police custody, pending completion of investigation.
