The Child born to the family of Mr Yisau Abdulahi of Mogaji's compound, Kuntu, Ilorin was the first delivery to be made at the Hospital since it commenced operations on Monday, this week.

The State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed who made an unscheduled visit to the Hospital was elated by the successful delivery of the baby boy.

Governor Ahmed who presented a cash donation of N200,000.00 to the family announced immediate employment of the father of the new born baby, Mr. Yisau Abdulahi.

The governor noted that his administration's investment in the health sector was to further ensure a healthy population and access to quality healthcare within 500 metres radius.

In his reaction, the Chief Medical Director, General Hospital, Ilorin, Doctor Abdulfatah Olookoba commended the governor for his visit and promised that the hospital would not relent in meeting the medical needs of the people within and beyond Ilorin.

Responding, the father of the baby, Mr. Yisau Abdulahi appreciated Governor Ahmed for alleviating his suffering with the cash donation and immediate employment.
