Wife Wants Eight Years Marriage Dissolved for Alleged Lack of Love
A housewife, Sala Idowu, on Tuesday urged an Okuta Area Court, Kwara, to dissolve her eight-year-old marriage to Idowu for alleged lack of love.
Sala, a mother of two, who reside at Okuta in Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara, told the court that she was no longer interested in the marriage.
She said the marriage was contracted in 2006 and blessed with two children.
"There is no love again and I can't continue with a union that lacks love," she told the court.
Idowu opposed the petition, saying that he was still in love with his wife.
He pleaded with the court to grant him sometime to make a move to reconcile with his wife.
The Judge, Malam Ahmed Yahaya, granted the plea, and adjourned the case till June 16 for a report of settlement. (NAN)
