Schools resume in Kwara, Monday

As part of government policy on qualitative education for all, the executive chairman, KWSUBEB, Barr. Lanre Daibu has called on stakeholders in education sector from various communities in Kwara State to ensure prompt resumption of pupils in our schools.

Daibu made the call during a meeting on the resumption of pupils which is Monday 28th April, 2014.

He advised traditional rulers and community leaders to  mobilize their pupils in their respective domains, in order to commence academic activities immediately.

Barr. Daibu discosed that welcome test would be conducted for pupils within first week of resumption and would be recorded strictly as part of the continuous assessment for the term.

He therefore enjoined teachers and pupils to be in school on the scheduled date of resumption in order to commence proper academic session, in line with the 2014 academic calendar.

He warned parents to ensure that their wards are well dressed according to the state government policy on dress code for schools.

Barr. Daibu however, called on school management to ensure punctuality and immediate commencement of academic activities in schools across the state.
