Ilorin Elders Forum Cautions Clark over Attack on Saraki

Date: 2014-01-17

The leaders of Ilorin Emirate Elders' Forum  Thursday cautioned the former minister of Information, Chief Edwin Clark to stop all his campaigns of calumny  against the former governor of the state and senator representing Kwara central senatorial district at the national assembly, Senator Bukola Saraki.

They said  tha  the past comments being made against Senator Saraki by Chief Clark did not show that, he (Clark)  was a true friend of late political icon of Kwara state, Dr. Olusola Saraki as being claimed by him in his series of interviews being granted in the country.

Addressing a press conference  at the state council of  Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ) press centre, Ilorin on Wednesday, the spokesperson of the group, the Magaji Nda of Ilorin, Allhaji Soliu Woru Muhammed said  " nothing concerns  Chief Clark about Kwara and he should stop dabbling into the affairs of Kwara because we Kwarans  thank God for giving  us our leader, Senator Bukola Saraki".
