New LG chairmen for swearing on Monday
The newly elected local government chairmen in Kwara State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are to be sworn in today by the State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed.
The swearing in ceremony which is scheduled to hold at Government House Ilorin will commence by 10: am prompt.
The occasion will also feature the inauguration of operation harmony.
When contacted on phone, the senior special assistant on Media (SSA Media), Dr. Muyideen Akorede confirmed that the swearing-in will actually hold this morning.
