Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial district, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has added his voice to the nationwide condolence messages pouring in for late elder statesman, Chief Solomon Lar.

Saraki in his message eulogized the late PDP chieftain describing him as "a great leader" whose exemplary leadership has become an important path to follow.

"Again, a giant of high order has gone. No doubt, Dr. Lar left at a time when he his needed most; because during seasons of political agitation for common interests, the guidance of pioneers are needed in order to brighten the will of the masses and ameliorate our nation.

He will always be remembered for the exemplary humility, great vision, wisdom and maturity which he brought to political leadership in Nigeria for over 50 years as a legislator, Executive Governor, party leader and elder statesman" Saraki said.

While sympathizing with his family, Governor Jonah Jang, and the people of Plateau state, Saraki said the leadership pattern Chief Lar laid in the party most especially the North Central zone which has created some level of stability and unity in the zone will not be forgotten in a hurry.

"The founding principles of equity, fairness and justice, progress and accountability which he laid as the pioneer chairman of PDP will surely live after him. Dr. Lar will be greatly missed" he concluded.
