Kwara flags off N3b second batch car loan
The Kwara state government will on Monday flag off N3b second batch car loan facility for the civil servants in the state.
The state Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu who made this known yesterday attributed the delay to documentation logistics.
He maintained that one way to make civil service perform its avowed duties diligently was to provide civil servants with the necessary benefits.
He said in Kwara state, the government has made frantic efforts to make life meaningful for its civil servants leading to a cordial relationship between the government and its workforce.
He explained that the loan would be repaid within a period of four years. Investigation by The Herald revealed that the car loan scheme will be disbursed according to salary grade levels. Civil servants from grade levels seven to nine will access N 400,000; grade levels 10 and 12 will access N 600,000; grade levels 13 and 14 will access N 800,000; while others on grade levels 15 and above will take N 1 million payable in four years.
