Hajj: Kwara screens intending pilgrims

ara State Muslim Pilgrims Board has commenced the screening of intending pilgrims, warning that any intending pilgrim who purchased form at centres not designated by the board would be disqualified. The board Chairman, Sheikh Usman Olosun, gave the warning yesterday during the screening in Ilorin. He disclosed that about 2,485 intending pilgrims are expected to participate in this year's Hajj from the state as provided by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON). The Chairman Screening Committee, Abdulwahab Toyin Onipe, said the exercise was carried out to ascertain genuine intending pilgrims.
