Yinka Aluko takes last minute campaign to Ikokoro

Date: 2015-03-26

The Kwara PDP Deputy Governorship candidate, Mallam Ahmed Yinka Aluko, has reiterated ?his absolute commitment to the wellbeing of the people of the state stressing that Kwarans should massively vote for the party so as to free themselves from the political and economic bondage witnessed in the state.

He also urged the PDP family to be steadfast adding the speculation that he betrayed his former boss, Sen. Bukola Saraki, is a cheap blackmail and political sentiment aimed at assassinating his character ahead of the polls.

Aluko stated this at his family house, Ikokoro compound, along Niger road, as part of his last minute campaign ahead of the Saturday presidential and national assembly elections.

He condemned campaign of calumny among the people of the area in the name of promoting the political fortune of the APC led government noting that the Bukola Saraki political structure has done much damages ?to the state beyond reasonable doubt.

"I am bold to tell you that all those who have benefited from Bukola Saraki in this compound were brought by me but unfortunately, they have refused to pursue policies capable of improving the lives of the people of the state.

"I was the person that brought Bukola Saraki to Ilorin to become governor in 2003. I facilitated the appointment of Barrister Lanre Daibu, Barrister Funsho Aluko and a host others into the Bukola's government. They are all ungrateful and betrayals. I've sacrificed so many things for them as brothers."

Aluko therefore warned youths to be vigilant and shun all acts capable of ?truncating the ongoing nascent democracy and appealed to them to vote massively for PDP at levels.
