Kwara Utd GM urges team to show Champions Performance against Adamawa

The General Manager of Kwara United FC of Ilorin, Alhaji Haruna Maigidasanma has urged his wards to display a champion's performance in their next away game to Adamawa United on Saturday in Yola.

Two goals from the Afonja Warriors' winger Samuel Adegbenro and a goal each from Bobga Sambo and Adigun Lateef ensured a 4-1 victory over visiting Wikki Tourist of Bauchi, in Ilorin on Saturday to reduce the four points gap to one between the two group A leaders of the NNL.

Maigidasanma challenged his players and officials to take another giant step towards picking one of the available tickets for promotion by winning their next away game against Adamawa United.

The United manager who was confident his team would gain promotion reminded his boys and officials that there is still a lot of work to be done to get to the desired destination.

He called on all supporters of the club to intensify their prayers for team as the league enters its most crucial stage.

Maigidasanma urged the supporters of the team to continue to be law abiding and support the team always even when their performance in a match is below par.

Maigidasanma who commended the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed for his support to the team assured Kwarans his management team will not disappoint them at the end of the season.
