Press Release: Kwara PDP is Inhuman - APC
In a statement issued by the APC interim public relations officer, Alhaji Suleyman Buhari, the party said it at a loss as to how a party that could not successfully manage a mere ward congress would have the moral? obligation to question the management of a government institution that has over the years stood the test of time.
According to Buhari " It is embarrassing that instead of apologising to the good people of Kwara State on the needless loss of lives during its ward Congress, the PDP is shamelessly issuing political press statements. This has again demonstrated that the PDP is merely interested in power game for individual gains.
"For the descerning", the statement continues "the Can the obviously overwhelmed PDP interim Chairman tell us what has changed between the previous week when his party falsely claimed that the Kwara Express had collapsed, and this week, when it claimed that the corporation 'is one of the leading and viable Corporations yielding large turnover and meeting with the demands of a standard transport service and generating revenue for the state government?' Since truth & facts are sacrosanct, we are not surprised that the PDP has unconsciously lent credence to the fact that what the Harmony Holdings Limited has simply done is to give the Kwara Express a life line after a momentary years of lull and hardship which is natural in the life of any self-sustaining corporations like the Kwara Express. We are however surprised that the PDP has failed to own up to its own contradiction."
The APC, therefore condemns attempt by PDP to politicise the operations of Kwara State Transport Corporation and Harmony Holdings Limited and we warns that any further attempt by the PDP to confuse the public on the state of health of the Kwara Express shall be sternly resisted and challenged.
The APC advises the good people of Kwara State to disregard the violent PDP and its antics and reiterate it's stand that the PDP should apologise and pay compensation to the deceased families.
