Kwara United Carpet Dolphins
Dolphins Football Club of Port Harcourt has been admonished to intelligently disseminate information and not to misinform football ruling authority and football followers on happenings at match venues as such could smear smooth relationship among the clubs.
Kwara United Football Club of Ilorin Media Officer, Olayioye Ajide made the statement following a media release by his counterpart, China Acheru claiming that Kwara United fans are a disgrace which he said was a fallacy and imagination.
Olayioye Ajide sounded that it is highly imperative to make statement that could build and enhance the growth of the league rather than resorting into derogatory words that would create disaffection among club fans.
The Kwara United Media Officer, Olayioye Ajide disclosed that, the fans were vehement about the substitutes made by coach Samson Unuanel which gave Dolphins the chance to score the home team.
"It was the substitutions made by the technical crew of Afonja Warriors the fans reacted to, and after the match, it became an argument among the spectators when the game ended in one all draw. So after the match, some fans swooped on the bench of Kwara United to express their displeasure about the changes made. Neither the referees nor Dolphins was harassed."Olayioye stated.
Olayioye added, "Kwara fans are lovers of good football, even at the detriment of home team, when visitors play good game, they applaud them.
In Ilorin, we lost to Nasarawa and drew with Sunshine and no record of violence was reported. Dolphins are just trying to paint Kwara fans in bad light. It is not a good thing because the security men ensured hitch free match".
Olayioye stated that Dolphins FC should not fuel crisis between Port Harcourt fans and Kwara fans because the two sides have never been each other's enemy and let no one create one
