Kwara State Indigenes to Get Free Medical Surgery

About one thousand people across Kwara State in North central Nigeria are to benefit from a free medical surgery in the month of April in Ilorin, the State Capital.

The free medical surgery is organized by the government with the support of some international Non-governmental Organizations, including Rotary club from USA.

The programme will enable the masses have access to quality health care.

The State Commissioner for Information and Communications Prince Tunji Morounfoye said commended the NGOS for supporting government on health care delivery system.

“Part of the process is the renovation of general hospitals across the State to cater for secondary Health care services,” he said.

Prince Morunfoye also explained that measures have been put in place to ensure that the State did not experience flooding this year.
