NPFL: Victory over Sharks will Spur Kwara Utd - Unuanel

Date: 2013-03-26

Kwara United will host Heartland in a week four game of the Nigeria Professional Football League, and the Afonja Warriors are set to continue winning.

Coach of United Samson Unuanel believes the 1-0 victory over Sharks FC in Port Harcourt will spur his side to victories in subsequent games.

Subsequent games

-The victory will stabilise the team, and see us through subsequent games, Unuanel toldfutaa.com.

The coach said the victory in Port Harcourt came through hardwork, and the blessing of God.

-I work very hard for it (victory) and God blessed the work of my hand.

-The players stood their ground. They did not deserve to play draw.

Last game

Najeem Olukokun’s solitary strike was all that was needed for Kwara United to secure their first win of the season after their two earlier games ended in stalemate.

United have not lost a game this term, and are now placed on five points with one win and two draws.
