Ganmo: Kwara Suspends Action on Oluganmo Stool
The suspension was announced by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Isiaka Gold following an on-the-spot assessment of the damage caused by the crisis in Ganmo.
Alhaji Isiaka Gold who expressed displeasure at the level of destruction in Ganmo, warned that security agents have been advised to fish out and bring the culprits to book. The SSG added that following the suspension of action on the traditional stool, government will view any further outbreak of violence as criminality and prosecute those apprehended to the full limits of the law.
The SSG charged security operatives to ensure that adequate security is provided to ensure the safety of all residents and advised the people to go about their lawful activities without fear.
Speaking further, Alhaji Gold advised the people of the State to embrace the culture of dialogue in the resolution of disagreements rather than resorting to acts of criminality.
