Third Batch of 533 Kwara Pilgrims Returns Safely from 2026 Hajj
The third batch of 533 pilgrims from Kwara State who participated in this year's Hajj pilgrimage has landed safely after completing the 2026 Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.
The pilgrims arrived at the General Babatunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin, aboard a Max Air flight at 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday, accompanied by members of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.
With the arrival of the 533 pilgrims, the total number of pilgrims who have returned to Kwara State now stands at 1,486 out of the 1,714 pilgrims who participated in this year's Hajj from the state.
In a statement issued by the Press Secretary of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mrs Jumoke Jimmy, it was disclosed that the last batch of the state's pilgrims who participated in the 2026 Hajj is expected to arrive in Ilorin on Friday.
