Governor AbdulRazaq Completes Rehabilitation of Oke-Ose Model Primary Healthcare Centre

Date: 2026-04-02

The Kwara State Government, under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has completed the rehabilitation of the Model Primary Healthcare Centre, Oke-Ose, in Ilorin East Local Government Area of the state.

The rehabilitation is part of the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration's effort to provide quality healthcare services for Kwarans and was achieved through the collaboration of the Kwara State Primary Healthcare Development Agency and the World Bank.

The healthcare centre, which serves patients from Oke-Oyi, Oke-Ose, and Alubosa, was previously deserted due to complaints about its dilapidated state and lack of modern medical equipment.

However, since the renovation, which included the provision of beds, solar power, boreholes, expansion of the maternity wards, and the supply of medical equipment, patients have returned and patronage has significantly improved.

Confirming this, the Officer-in-Charge of the Primary Healthcare Centre, Oke-Ose, Hajia Fatimah Adeshina, acknowledged that the healthcare centre had been in a bad condition for years and lauded the government’s intervention and appreciated the Governor for his investment in the health sector.
