Kwara United Coach Hails Players Discipline After 3-1 Victory Over Remo Stars

Date: 2025-11-03

Kwara United Technical Adviser, Ashifat Suleiman, has commended his players for their determination and discipline following their convincing 3-1 victory over defending Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Remo Stars.

The Harmony Boys secured the win at the Rashidi Yekini Stadium in Ilorin on Saturday, thanks to a brace from Junior Aimufua and a goal from Babatunde Bright. Jabbar Malik grabbed Remo Stars' consolation goal in stoppage time.

Suleiman admitted that the Sky Blue Stars made things difficult for his side, particularly at the start of the match.

"We had a tough game because we didn't start well but we regained ourselves," Suleiman stated after the game. He concluded with high praise for his squad: "a well done job from the players because they showed determination and discipline in the game."
