Six secondary schools have successfully qualified for the final stage of the 2025 Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KW IRS) Tax Club Quiz Competition. Their qualification follows a fiercely contested semi final round held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

The semi final stage was conducted entirely online using a Computer Based Test (CBT) format. Twelve schools participated, with the process being monitored closely by the KW IRS Tax Club Advocacy Committee and officials from the Kwara State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development.

The six schools that have advanced to the grand finale are: St. Anthony's Secondary School, Ilorin; Roemichs International Schools, Ilorin; AnsarUd Deen College, Offa; Ansarul Islam Grammar School, Ijomu Oro; Shepherd School, Lafiagi; and Government Secondary School, Lafiagi.

In a statement signed by Funmilola Oguntunbi, Head of Corporate Affairs at KW-IRS, it was announced that the finalists will compete for the grand prize of N2.5 million at the final stage slated to hold in Ilorin on November 6, 2025.
