Adeta Primary School Becomes Blueprint for Kwara’s Education Transformation Agenda
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON has advanced his commitment to educational transformation with the construction of a multistorey KwaraLEARN school prototype at Adeta Primary School, Ilorin. This flagship project exemplifies the governor’s pledge to modernise learning infrastructure, recruit qualified teachers, and ensure timely salary disbursements across the state’s education sector.
The prototype school—part of the broader KwaraLEARN initiative—features contemporary classrooms, digital learning resources, and climate-controlled environments designed to enhance student engagement. Governor AbdulRazaq reiterated his administration’s focus on creating equitable access to quality education, stating: “Every child in Kwara deserves a safe, modern space to learn. This prototype sets the standard for future school developments statewide.”
The initiative aligns with Kwara’s strategic goal to position education as the cornerstone of sustainable development, with plans to replicate the model in underserved communities by 2027.
The state-of-the-art Adeta Primary School in Ilorin, currently being built by the AbdulRazaq-led administration, is poised to set a new standard for educational infrastructure in the state. The facility will feature the following classrooms and offices:
•1 Headmaster's Office
•1 Deputy Headmaster's Office
•1 Large Administrative Office
•A Sickbay
•15 Classrooms for Pre-primary Pupils
•15 Classrooms for Lower Primary (Primary 1–3)
•15 Classrooms for Upper Primary (Primary 4–6)
•2 Science Laboratories
•2 Large Art Rooms
•2 Spacious Staff Rooms
•1 Large Library
•2 ICT Laboratories
•A Generous Outdoor Play Area
•Adequate Toilets and Other Supporting Facilities
Once completed, these world-class educational facilities will rank among the best not only in the North Central but also in the country, and will significantly enhance access to quality education for children in Kwara State.
