415 Kwara Pilgrims Depart for Hajj 2025, Totalising 975 Amid Governor's Safety Measures
A second batch of 415 intending pilgrims from Kwara State departed for Saudi Arabia this afternoon to perform the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, bringing the total number of Kwara's pilgrims in the kingdom to 975.
Before their departure, the State Amir al-Hajj, Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Barrister Ismail Bolaji Yahaya Muhammed Atoloye Alebiosu, urged the group to serve as exemplary ambassadors for Kwara State during their stay. He highlighted Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's initiatives to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
The Special Adviser on Religion (Islamic Affairs), Alhaji Ibrahim Dan-Maigoro led the second batch of 415 intending pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Max Airline arrived at the Babatunde Idi-Agbon International Airport, Ilorin at 11:45am this morning and took off to Saudi Arabia at 1:20 pm this afternoon.
