Kwara United Coach Blames Defeat on Missed Chances and Poor Officiating
The coach of Kwara United, Tunde Sanni, has attributed their defeat to Rivers United to missed chances and poor officiating, as reported by BSNSports.com.ng.
Despite scoring first, the Afonja Warriors succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Rivers United in Port Harcourt.
He further made it clear that the level of officiating is declining.
"We lost the game by ourselves because we should have been leading them by at least 3 goals.
"We squadered the opportunity, if your opponent made a mistake and you fail to punish them, it will surely bounce back.
"Every game, we received almost 8 yellow cards without our opponent getting anything even when they are also kicking our players.
"The level of officiating is declining", he said.
Kwara United will host Katsina United in the match day 18 of the league in Ilorin.
