As Royal News highlights, the leadership of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) has lauded Dr. Abdulkadir Jumuah Salman Solagberu, the Malami Ubandoma of Ilorin, for his extensive contributions to upholding and promoting religious and cultural values across various levels.

The commendation was made by IEDPU National President, Alhaji Abdulmumini Abdulmalik, following Dr. Solagberu’s recent appointment as a member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, headquartered in Doha, Qatar.

The IEDPU expressed pride in Malami Ubandoma’s induction into the prestigious Islamic Jurisprudence Researchers Division of the influential council of global Muslim scholars.

Abdulmalik, a retired Assistant Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, praised the distinguished scholar’s dedication and achievements, noting his positive impact on the Ilorin Emirate and his contributions to Nigeria as a whole.

He added that the people of Ilorin Emirate appreciate the contributions of Shaykh Solagberu, who is also the promoter of the proposed Darul Kitab University, Agbeyangi, Ilorin, to the production of high quality and promising scholars as well as for being an agent of positive changes among the Muslim community and humanity at large.

The Union charged the foremost scholar, who is also the proprietor of the famous Darul Kitab Wa Sunna College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Gaa Akanbi, Ilorin, to continue to serve as a role-model to others within and outside Ilorin Emirate.

The IEDPU President therefore wished the awardee continuous sound health and a more successful career.
