Nigeria Tribune reports that one of the legislative aides to the Senate President in Kwara State, Hon. Busayo David, has pledged to cover the West African Examination Council (WAEC) fees for eleven secondary school students in the Isapa community, located in the Ekiti Local Government Area.

During a presentation of financial assistance to 25 pupils from Okesa Community Primary School and Isapa Community Secondary School, both in Ekiti Local Government, Hon. David emphasised that the gesture was aimed at supporting the state government's efforts to enhance educational standards.

He further revealed that, in addition to covering the WAEC fees for the eleven secondary school students, the tuition fees of the primary school pupils would be paid for the next three years.

“This initiative is my way of giving back to the community that has nurtured me, and I am fully committed to continuing this philanthropic act to promote free education in my community”, he said.

Hon. David, who expressed gratitude to senator representing Kwara South senatorial district, Senator Oyelola Ashiru, for making initiative possible, said that he was dedicated to supporting efforts of Senator Ashiru, who he said has made significant contributions to Ekiti local government and the Kwara South senatorial district as a whole.

“My main focus is on Ekiti local government,Okesa Community Primary School and ISAPA Community Secondary School, where I am working tirelessly to ensure that every student's school fees and WAEC fees are covered.

“Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of these students and their families.”
