Former chairman of Independent Corrupt Practices  and Other Related Offences(ICPC), Justice Mustapha Akanbi (rtd.) has lamented  that corruption has continued to be the  mother of all crimes capable of wrecking the growth of the nation. Akanbi disclosed this in Ilorin on Friday during the book presentation entitled "Practice and Procedure of Criminal. Litigation in Nigeria written by Mr. Yahaya Hambali  deputy director of academics of Nigeria Law School, Yenagoa" said that, "all hands must be on deck by all Nigerians to nip the menace in the bud so as to move the nation forward". He said that, "there is nothing in the country as of today that does not go with corruption and this is uncalled for if the nation is to move forward". Akanbi added that, "today in Nigeria, you can get your case killed once you can give out bribe and this is highly embarrassing". He said that, “the author made two-one in both his undergraduate and law school examinations results and recommended him for employment at the Nigeria Law School".
