Date: 2024-04-24

According to the report from Kwara State Government Facebook page, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has appointed Senator Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe as the leader of the state's contingent (Ameerul-Hajj) to the 2024 Hajj in Saudi Arabia.

With at least 3,102 pilgrims from Kwara State, one of the highest numbers in the country, Senator Oloriegbe's appointment underscores the state's commitment to a smooth and well-coordinated pilgrimage experience.

The decision to appoint the senator, as highlighted in the statement, is based on his extensive experience and networks as a Muslim community leader. The government trusts that his leadership will enhance coordination and efficiency during the Hajj exercise.

This appointment reflects the state government's dedication to ensuring a successful Hajj operation and providing support to pilgrims throughout their spiritual journey.
