The Bishop Diocese of Kwara Anglican Communion, Right Reverend Sunday Adewole, Sunday urged Nigerians to seek God's intervention to overcome current economic hardship in the country.

He stated the need for Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and live in peace and harmony with one another.
“Everybody should try as much as possible to sacrifice so that the others will be at peace. Sacrifice is very important at this time around. Sacrifice everything, your time, your talent, your treasure,” he said.
Earlier in his sermon entitled: ” Implication of Christ Resurrection,” the clergy noted that the resurrection of Jesus was not a friction but reality as it brought salvation, healing.
He also stated the need to trust and develop faith in God and come to Him when things are good.
Bishop Adewole also kicked against “preaching Christ without Christ, salvation without sanctification, decision without discipleship, love without lordship, prosperity without purpose, blessing without birthright and revival without reformation.”
