The Harmony Boys defeated Nasarawa United by a lone goal at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium to progress to the quarter-finals of the competition.

The General Manager of the club Bashir Badawiy said the victory is for the state governor, following his emergence as the chairman of the governor’s forum.

He also commended the players for their commitment and the supporters for the feat achieved.

“The team dedicates the victory to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, in celebration of his emergence as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governor’s Forum (NGF),” he told the club’s media.

Kwara United will play Plateau United FC on May 28th, in the quarter-finals of the Federation Cup.
