Professor Jimoh who was represented by the Director, General Studies Unit, Professor Olubukola Dada, stressed that students of KWASU were known for hard work, diligence and proper moral conduct urged the students to keep up the image and standard established by their predecessors.
The Director of KWASU SIWES Unit, Dr. Dauda Adesola in his address, noted that the annual SIWES pre-placement orientation exercise was an avenue put in place by management of the Institution to educate the students on the importance of the scheme to thier overall training in the university.
The Manager of the Ilorin Area Office of Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Mrs Temitayo Quadri said the SIWES programme was designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice and prepare students of tertiary institutions for the industrial work situation they may encounter after graduation.
