Kwara Kiddies league : Organizers Open Registration for Second Season
The board of the Kwara Kiddies league has opened registration for the second season of the league.
According to a statement signed by its Secretary, Yemi Sodeeq on Thursday in Ilorin, Kwara State capital, the registration for the second season commenced on March 1 and will end on March 20.
“We have opened registration for the second season of our league. It's a new season and the board is ready for yet another engaging and productive campaign”
“In our usual manner of sanctioning erring clubs, the board has decided to expel Young Talent FA of Ogbondoroko for disregarding the league framework last season and readmitted Honey King FA” he said.
While reiterating the commitment of the league board to delivering a good outing for all the clubs, he added that registration fee for each team in the new season has been set for N10,000.
“We are going to be leveraging on our achievements from last season and try as much as possible to improve on the areas we need to” he added.
Meanwhile, the board also added that a play-offs will be held between the last two teams from last season and two other new teams willing to join the league.
It will also be recalled that a documentary, where the challenges, potentials and prospects of the league were chronicled has since been released on the YouTube platform of the league.
The documentary also serves as a wrap-up for actions in the first season of the league which has enjoyed raves of commendation from football stakeholders across the length and breadth of the country.
Kwara Football Academy won the inaugural edition of the league. The second season is expected to kick off in April.
