Scores of supporters of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),in Kwara state, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Wednesday, agreed to join forces to deliver the state to him during the 2023 general elections.
The groups numbering over 21 gathered in Ilorin, Kwara state capital came together under the umbrella of “Friends of Atiku” in Kwara where they charted way forward on how to deliver the state to the PDP presidential candidate during the 2023 general elections.
The gathering which was coordinated by the Kwara state chapter of Atiku Support Organisation (ASO) consisted of politicians across party lines and other stakeholders.
Declaring the meeting open, the state coordinator of ASO, Barr. Olusegun Olawoyin, said: “The forum was initiated to bring all friends of Atiku Abubakar from various groups and political parties together so that we can work together for the PDP presidential candidate and deliver the state for him during the 2023 general elections.
