Eko 2012: Team Gombe, again, unleashes violence in game against Kwara
The incident occurred when the Coach of Team Kwara, Moshood Adebayo, was ordered to leave the pitch by the Centre Referee in the added time, following his complaint of alleged poor officiating as Team kwara was leading by a lone goal scored by Taofeek Moshood in the first half.
In the process, the Gombe fans descended on him, beating him and the person that came to rescue him mercilessly.
The late arrival of security men did not help matters as sportswriters were not spared.
The aggrieved fans beat all the people that came from Kwara State.
No fewer than five of the hooligans were arrested by security personnel. This will be the second time Team Gombe will be disrupting proceeding as they fought in their match against Team Zamfara on Thursday at the same venue.
