IEDPU felicitates Emir on 26th installation anniversary
Alhaji Uthman, in a statement signed on his behalf by the Union's National Publicity Secretary, Abubakar Imam, described the reign of the foremost Monarch as peaceful, progressive and phenomenal.
He explained that the people of Ilorin Emirate have enjoyed good and quality leadership from the Emir, saying that his reign would continue to be remembered for the numerous and monumental achievements recorded by the people of Ilorin Emirate.
Alhaji Uthman specifically thanked Alhaji Sulu-Gambari for the fatherly love and support the Union consistently received from him before and since his historic assumption office.
The community leader also noted that the Emir has added glitz and glamour to the office so well that Ilorin Emirate has retained its pride of place in the comity of traditional polities in Nigeria.
Alhaji Uthman appealed to the Emir to continue to discharge his fatherly responsibilities not only to the Union and the people of Ilorin Emirate but to also the government and people of Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
