47-year-old man shoots self dead in Kwara

A man identified as Olarewaju Abioye, has allegedly killed himself in Koro Community, Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Olarewaju, 47, reportedly shot himself in his room on Friday afternoon.

Security sources informed DAILY POST that the sad development occurred at about 1300hours at Ore compound in the community.

Olarewaju, allegedly shot himself with a local dane gun in his private room.

No suicide note was found in the room except the dane gun allegedly used in killing himself.

The spokesman of the State police command, SP Okasanmi Ajayi in a response to the text message via WhatsApp, said, "No information on the incident yet.

" I will find out and get back to you," he added.
