'You're an extraordinary woman' - Saraki hails wife on 57th birthday

Date: 2021-09-06

Bukola Saraki, former senate president, has celebrated Toyin Saraki, his wife, on the occasion of her 57th birthday.

The two-time Kwara state governor took to his Instagram handle on Monday to pen a short but romantic note to Toyin alongside beautiful photos of the couple.

He also praised her for being an "extraordinary" mother to their four kids and a "champion" of women and children.

"To a champion for the wellbeing of women and children; to the extraordinary mother of our four beautiful children; to my beloved wife, @ToyinSaraki: Happy birthday, darling!" he wrote.

The couple are believed to have gotten married in December 1991.

They had celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary in December last year in a beautiful way.

"Thank you for 29 extraordinary years and 4 wonderful children. I hope that we get to celebrate countless more together! Happy Anniversary!," Saraki had written at the time alongside a beautiful photo of the pair.
