He observed that encouraging small scale business was one of the methods through which people can be self-employed.

Self-employment according to him was another veritable means of alleviating poverty in our society.

Olugbon said he established his business in 2005 with the aim of empowering youths, explained that Al-Medinah store has trained many youths to be self-employed.

He added that, "instead of looking for white-cola jobs, many youths have been trained in this business and they are now self-employed and even contributing to the reduction of unemployment in the society.

"There is need for government to introduce certain policy that will encourage small scale business like this because it would reduce the rate of unemployment in the society. Government can assist and encourage us with soft loan".

He attributed crime rate among the youths to lack of employment, calling on government to as a matter of urgency encourage technical and vocational education as a way of addressing the problems.

Speaking on the importance of prophetic medicines, he said they highly effective in treating various illness without any side effect.

He said Prophet Muhammad had during his life encouraged natural drugs like honey, black-seed, olive-fruit and oil, zamzam, fenugreek among others to treat ailment because of their importance and effectiveness and urged people to avail themselves of their effectiveness by using them at all times.
