Kwara United Attacker Happy With Victory

Kwara United attacking midfielder, Jimoh Sherif has expressed joy to see his side escape relegation after the 2011/2012 Nigerian Premier League ended on Friday.

Segun Alebiosun and Kabiru Sanusi  both scored in the second half to ensure a 2-0 victory over Shooting Stars FC on Friday to guarantee a place next season.

-I am very happy that we won today. He told futaa.com in Ilorin.

-We have escaped relegation and it is good we will still continue in the NPL next season.

Good football

Sheriff however said that 3SC has a fantastic team and played good football on the night, but the victory went to his side because they deserve to win.

Rising Stars, Jigawa Golden Stars and Niger Tornadoes all joined Ocean Boys as relegated teams that will compete in the lower division side next season.
