Ilorin West Integrity Group, a community-based organization has commended the lawmaker representing Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Razak Atunwa for providing transformers to enhance power supply in the constituency.

The group, in a statement signed by her coordinator, Alhaji Abdulwaheed Omoda, said the effort of Rt Hon Atunwa to enhance power supply through installation of transformers is a welcome development.

"The approach of Hon Atunwa towards electrification is commendable; many of our transformers we have before are carrying excessive loads which makes them underperform. But with the effort of our lawmaker, Hon Razak Atunwa, the installation of new transformers means the load will be spread for every transformer to perform at its best capacity.

"And stability of electricity in our constituency will not only boost economic activities but it reduce insecurity, particularly at night" he said.

This development is coming after Rt Hon Atunwa successfully completed the installation of a 300KVA transformer at Ita Elefun. Among others, Hon Atunwa has also installed transformers at Laduba ward, Alapa Onire Odegiwa, Otte Balah, and Magaji Ngeri ward.

The lawmaker recently promised to intensify the speed of projects in the constituency to ensure that constituents begin to enjoy basic amenities in greater dimension.
