This is in compliance with the United Nations International Day, marked every 26 June to campaign against drug abuse and illegal drug business.

The NDLEA boss and his team briefed pressmen on Thursday and made rally at selected vicinities of Ilorin city with his team and other security personnel in the state.

FELLOW PRESS gathered that the anti-drug abuse agency was on Friday at Mosques, and on Sunday at Churches, campaigning on the danger of drug abuse and how parents and guardians can help their children from being caught in the web of drug abuse.

Ogilegwu, who was transferred to Kwara from Borno State in April, said it was worrisome to see the the negative effect and damage drug abuse is causing to our society.

Further narrating the homicidal act of the boy, he said such evil that wiped out 5 family members could have been averted if he was prevented from using drug.
