Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS) and the National Association of Nigerian Students Joint Campus Committee (NANS JCC), Kwara state chapter, have entered into an agreement aimed at promoting entrepreneurship among students.

Under the partnership, NANS will encourage students to come up with business proposals while the KWIRS will provide funding to execute the best five proposals selected among entries received.

NANS' chairman, Comrade Tajudeen Habeeb, disclosed this in Ilorin yesterday. Tajudeen described the partnership with the revenue body as "historic," adding that it would help discover the potentials of the teeming brilliant and innovative student.

He said: "NANS in collaboration with KW-IRS is requesting from all students schooling in Kwara state to come up with a plan of business, services or Natural Resources that can be exploited in Kwara state.?

"The proposal should not be more than five pages of A4 sized paper (single line spacing) and must be the original work of the researcher. All proposals can be send by e-mail attachment in Microsoft word and PDF Format to NANSKWARA@gmail.com on or before November 2.

"Our panel of judges will screen and select the best fie proposals, which would be subjected to public defence on November 15, 2016, with a sum of N150, 000, N100, 000 and N50, 000 going to 1st, 2nd and 3rd best proposals, respectively."
