A press statement signed by the Director of the Atiku Media Office, Mazi Paul Ibe, on Tuesday said the late Malomo was a dependable friend and a journalist par excellence.
It said: "Although an indigene of Offa in Kwara State, David had made a home of Yola through the years of being on his beat covering Adamawa State.
"We will sorely miss David Malomo at the AMO. We condole with his family for this irreparable loss; his employer, the Sun Newspaper and, of course, his colleagues covering Adamawa State. May his soul rest in peace."
