Kwara State Government has again reinstated its commitment to fulfilling all its electioneering campaign promises despite the current economic crunch.

The state commissioner for Works and Transport, Alhaji Aro Yahaya made this known in his office while receiving the executive members of the Baboko Market Association who were on Thank-you-visit and appreciation of the state governor’s efforts at reconstructing the  Baboko market road network.

In a letter of appreciation jointly signed by its Chairman, Alhaji Abdulrasak Lasoju and the Secretary, Alhaji G.O.A Olororo and presented to the commissioner, they expressed their unflinching support for the present administration for redeeming its campaign promises.

Responding, the Commissioner for Works and Transport, Alhaji Aro Yahaya expressed gratitude to the association for its support at all times and promised that the on-going road construction in the market would be completed soon.

Alhaji Yahaya, therefore urged the association to ensure regular and proper maintenance of the road infrastructure, adding that the present administration would stop at nothing to provide all needed facilities that would make life more bearable to the citizenry.
