Kwara United management, coach axed

Date: 2015-11-28

Following their demotion to the lower cadre, the Kwara State government has clamped down heavily on the Harmony Boys

Kwara United management led by Haruna Maigidasanma and coach Tunde Abdulrahman have been fired.

The decision was taken on Friday evening by the state government after reviewing the performance of the team in the just concluded Nigeria Professional Football League season.

"I can confirm that the management as well as the technical crew of Kwara United FC have been dissolved by the state government," media officer Yinka Owolewa confirmed.

The Harmony Boy were relegated to the Nigeria National League after finishing 17th in the Nigeria topflight despite their late efforts to stay aloft in the Premier League.
