Senate President: LP governorship candidate in Kwara pledges support for Saraki's aspiration

Dr Mike Omotosho, Labour Party governorship candidate in the 2015 general elections in Kwara, has pledged his support for Sen. Bukola Saraki’s aspiration to be elected Senate President in the 8th National Assembly.

This is contained in a statement issued on Sunday in Ilorin by Mr Olufemi Folayan, Omotosho’s Special Assistant on Youth and Student Matters and made available to newsmen.

He said the emergence of Saraki as Senate President would have positive impact on the lives of the people of Kwara and enhance the development of the state and the country.

Omotosho said the people of Kwara would reap more dividends of democracy from the federal government if their son was elected Senate President.

He said that Saraki had enough experience and maturity to occupy the position. (NAN)
