Nigeria heading for doom, says Unilorin muslim preacher
Unless there is sincere repentance, Nigeria is heading for destruction in no distant time.
A renowned Muslim preacher, Professor AbdulGaniyu AbdulSalam Oladosu, gave this indication bst Friday while delivering his sermon at the University of Ilorin Central Mosque.
Oladosu, who opined that Nigerians have courted trouble with their ungodly behavioural pattern, warned that the wrath of Almighty God was imminent.
He berated Nigerian leaders for treachery, saying that many of them have reneged on their political promises.
He posited:"It is high time we tell ourselves the truth. If one takes critical examination of our actions, deeds and utterances, in no distant time, we would court the wrath of God."
"Nigerian leaders have betrayed the confidence reposed in them; they were running government anyhow and as things were, these are invitations to self-destruction.
The Chief Imam of the University of Ilorin, who also attributed the multi-dimensional challenges confronting the nation to some treachery elements, said "the moment the sense of shame and trustworthiness are lacked in the country, we should not expect anything than the wrath of God."
Oladosu expressed displeasure that many Nigerians are being slowly killed because they are not sureol surviving.
He stated: "It is appalling that many Nigerians are not sure of surviving on daily basis, this alone is an invitation on to dead."
The immediate past Director of Academic Planning of the university enjoined Nigerians to have a rethink by having sincerity of purpose and repentance, adding that the leaders must cultivate the habit of selflessness and hard work.
