The APC said with emergence of Senator Ajibola, it is now clear that the PDP had aslo keyed into APC slogan and believe in transparency, openness, equity, justice and fairness, hence the emergence of Sen Ajibola who is from Kwara South Zone like His Excellency, Alhaji Abdulfattah Ahmed of APC.

The APC in a statement issued in Ilorin by its Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Sulyman Buhari, said the party will henceforth, expect a violent free campaign, issued based and ideological electioneering campaign from the POP in the state.

"We trust that the people of Kwara State will now have the opportunity to elect the Govenor of their choice towards the the 2015 general elections.", the statement read.

It would be recalled that PDP has been enmeshed in series of crises as a result of botched and aborted governorship primaries in the state thereby causing unnecessary political tension.

The party finally urge PDP to join hands with it to ensure a violent free and peaceful election general election as this can only be achieved under a conducive and peaceful atmosphere. APC also enjoying PDP members to be law abiding citizens during the general election campaign.
