The Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has held its state House of Assembly primaries with most of the candidates emerging through consensus.

The chairman of the APC National Primary Election Committee, Azu Uwandu commends the peaceful conduct of the primaries and urged other states to emulate Kwara in the conduct of the rancor free primaries.

The committee members were impressed with the peaceful conduct of the delegates in which the candidates emerged on consensus.

The state chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Ishola Balogun-Fulani, told reporters that the peaceful conduct of the primaries in the state was attributed to the good work of the leaders of the party in the state and boasted of the readiness of the party to win the next presidential election in Nigeria.

The two House of Assembly candidates that emerged at the primaries promised to represent their constituencies well and sponsor bills that would positively touch the lives of the people.

With the peaceful conclusion of the House of Assembly primaries in the state, the stage is set for the National Assembly and Governorship primaries.
